Melbourne will use water from Eildon Dam, a dam which has been near empty for over ten years. The Eildon Dam feeds the Goulburn and Murray Rivers. Why would you augment Melbourne's water supply by connecting it to a near empty storage? This is the maddness of the North South Pipeline.
